Job Description Reporting to Depot Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities: Develop the skills, knowledge and certifications to operate locomotives hauling rolling stock units on a railway line. Learn how to be a driver that operates the train with due consideration of route conditions Conduct full train examination and drives the train to operational requirements Within agreed policy guidelines, perform assigned duties according to established procedures, company policies and applicable legislation Company Description Rail to road, dry freight, refrigerated or bulk, SCT Logistics provides Australia’s most efficient and independent freight services. For example, fitter, electrician, mechanic etc Ability to work shifts and work away from home Pass pre-employment medical checks including Psychometric safety testing, Category 1 medical/physical and ongoing drug and alcohol screens Ability to complete a national police clearance A valid, full drivers’ licence Other important information We reserve the right to commence recruitment proceedings prior to the stated closing date.
