A job to be proud of: As our Cloud Engineer , you’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and migrating systems across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. You’ll ensure cloud infrastructure is optimised, secure, and scalable, while continuously monitoring and managing its performance. With a passion to Make It Better, you’ll continuously innovate, fine-tuning cloud operations to unlock new possibilities and greater efficiency. You’ll Walk the Talk by delivering real-world solutions that improve performance and streamline processes, helping us stay ahead of the curve. Your work will ensure we provide seamless and reliable services that keep our operations running smoothly and effectively. This role is offered on a full time, 12-month contract. What you’ll do: Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure for high availability, reliability, and performance. Optimise resources, manage costs, and scale cloud environments. Proactively resolve issues, perform maintenance, and ensure security compliance. Implement access controls, encryption, backups, and disaster recovery plans. Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions. Design scalable and secure cloud solutions based on business needs. Collaborate on cloud architecture and strategy. Optimise performance and implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and caching. Plan and execute cloud migration strategies. What you’ll need: 5 years hands on experience in cloud engineering/admin, focused on Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of network, server, and platform OS. Understanding of cloud security best practices. Familiar with software protocols (e.g., firewalls, Active Directory). Strong in cloud security, automation, and PowerShell. Proficient in network admin, troubleshooting, and data management. Expertise in Azure (networking, storage, IAM, workload deployment, and automation). Skilled in cloud security and compliance, with Azure security controls experience. B.S. in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). Required: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Architect, Administrator, or Security). What’s in it for you?
