Job Title: Production/Process worker Job Category: MA000010 Department/Group: Production Job Code/ Req: Reporting To: Manufacturing Manager Position Type: Full- Time Location: Wetherill Park, Sydney Travel Required: No Purpose of the Position The Production/Process worker is responsible for completing routine manufacturing processes and tasks as part of an automated production line to produce finished goods that meet AYVA’s quality standards and minimise or eliminate non-conformities. This role requires quality routine tasks on the production line, keeping equipment and work area clean and in good condition and following strict safety guidelines. Success in this role is measured by achieving production targets, customer satisfaction, service reliability across all customers, and the resulting best-in-class business reputation for which we strive. This role requires working with the staff at all levels of the organisation and working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a desire to exceed clients’ expectations are the cornerstones of this role. Thinking outside the box is encouraged and an asset. Key Stakeholder Relationships This role will interact closely with the following stakeholders: - Key Internal Stakeholders Director – Michael Schmaedeke General Manager Production Team Logistics/Warehouse Controller Quality Assurance Inventory Controller Human Resources Key External Stakeholders : All customers of Ayva Key Performance Indicators · QC – output vs NCR and Icar rates · QC- all quality testing is recorded in Aspect and required paperwork is filled out on each shift · Prod – production order checklists are signed off by process worker as per HACCP requirements · Prod – Operators have stamped all pallets with QC clearance · Prod – House Keeping checklist has been completed on each shift Key Responsibilities & Tasks Personal hygiene as per HACCP requirements Printing job orders from SAP. Loading IML labels and/or stickers and ensure the carousel is filled. Feed raw material (master batch) if levels are low Assist Die-Setter Technician with colour change Quality checks Check against quality-approved standards for short-shots, colour, IML alignment, day date stamp, flashes, under-packed pails, and handle mushroom ends. Production Before commencing production ensure all relevant raw materials (i.e. labels, boxes, plastic wraps, tapes) are available and prepared as per instructions at relevant production machines. Ensure the correct number of items in a pallet Place plastic over customer’s finished goods Wrapping finished pallets using palletiser Print sticker labels and A4 labels and place them on wrapped finished pallets Move wrapped pallets to Production Warehouse using a trolley jack Report defective products or machinery to Team Leader Ensure handover tasks are completed before the end of each shift Housekeeping Ensure the work area is clear of rubbish and store away any unwanted or finished IMLs Machine is cleaned and free from debris Complete the cleaning checklist at the end of each shift Safety Wear appropriate PPE (hair net, beard net (where applicable), safety boots, AYVA Golf Shirts, long pants) Follow site-specific safety guidelines Key Competencies Being Customer and outcome-focused : - Using the framework set out by the business, coupled with knowledge, experience and lateral thinking to meet and exceed customer requirements. Qualification & Experience High School Certificate (HSC) or Certificate in Process Manufacturing Previous production work experience Good communication and teamwork skills Good reading and writing skills Basic computer skills Basic calculating skills
