About the job The Technology Admin Officer at SA Water is responsible for providing administrative support to the wider Technology team. The role is focused on enabling and supporting the Technology business group by ensuring smooth operations, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with coordination across the team. About the Person The ideal candidate would be highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong administrative background, preferably in a finance and/or technology environment. They would excel at managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with experience in financial and purchasing processes such as seeking quotes, creating purchase orders, journalling, and ensuring invoice accuracy through regular reconciliation. Oversee invoice processing (validation, coding, and investigation), process monthly journals for Technology and telecommunications, and create purchase requisitions for the Technology team. Provide comprehensive support to the Technology Leadership Team to meet internal and external customer needs. Demonstrate strong teamwork and forward-thinking, playing a key role in optimising processes within the Technology team. Your success in this role will come from: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, particularly when handling sensitive financial and administrative information (Essential). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks (Essential). Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders (Essential). Demonstrated experience in an administrative support role, including providing high-level support in a dynamic environment showcased by strong organisational skills.
