Our Duncan Rd Hub is a vibrant space that serves consumers, stakeholders, and community members, and we are looking for a proactive and friendly Receptionist/Administration Officer to join our team. As the Receptionist/Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Duncan Rd Hub. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service in a busy environment. This position is crucial for delivering effective administrative support while maintaining a professional public image for Uniting. Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and emails, welcome consumers, book appointments, and manage the reception area, including opening/closing as needed. Deliver excellent service to diverse internal and external customers while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes for management and WHS meetings. Perform routine administration tasks, including data input, document management, fleet vehicle coordination, and site inductions for new staff. Manage security systems, liaise with maintenance for repairs, order stationery, and coordinate room bookings and catering for events. About you To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have: Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant experience (desirable) Demonstrated experience in administrative roles (essential) Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and that they would foster excellent working relationships Experience in a human services organisation (desirable) Knowledge of Client Management Systems / Databases or the ability to quickly develop competency in use of such systems Ability to problem solve and effectively manage feedback Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive information and maintaining privacy and confidentiality Click here to view the full position description.
