In existence for nearly a decade, they are on an exciting growth trajectory in Australia, leading to the creation of a new Internal Sales Representative position to be based at their head office located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. About the role In the role of Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for Handling project enquiries from new and existing customers to understand project requirements Qualifying & disqualifying project opportunities Reviewing client drawings Preparing and sending out detailed project quotes, including labour and material estimates Developing Bill of Materials and Scope of Works Writing description of quotes (inclusion & exclusions) Following-up on quotes and closing sales Supporting the external sales team on projects Who we're looking for The successful applicant will have previous Estimating or Construction Sales experience. You will preferably have at least two-years experience in either construction or a building products environment and be comfortable proactively engaging with clients and influencing stakeholders. Previous experience dealing with builders and/or architects will also be an advantage. You will have a technical aptitude, ideally supported by a degree in Engineering or Architecture, with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. You will have outstanding follow-up skills, with the proven ability to successfully manage a project process end to end, from initial inquiry, through the estimating process to secure the project.
