Previous experience in a Library or Community setting. Knowledge of LMS and One Card consortium desirable. Confidence in supporting community with use of current technology. Ongoing availability to work over a 7-day roster, including weekends . About the job Exciting opportunities are available within our Community Experience team for Casual Library Assistants to join us on an as-needed basis across our five locations. Flexibility is key, as successful candidates must be available for shifts on a 7-day roster, including weekends. The Community Experience team plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service across the City of Charles Sturt library services. Situated within the Community Connections Portfolio, our team is dedicated to providing an integrated and unified service that addresses evolving community requirements by linking individuals to resources, information, services, and technology. The Community Experience team often extends its support to various functions across our library services, including program delivery and outreach services. The finer details These positions are offered on a casual basis, and are classified at Level 2, with the hourly rate being in the range of $47.92 - $52.10 (inclusive of casual loadings). A current unprohibited Employment Screening Check must be maintained for the duration of the employment period in this prescribed position.
