Your role within the team The Business Manager is responsible for developing and driving successful joint customer plans that align with our strategic goals. In close collaboration with the National Sales Manager (NSM), they will work with the Customer's buying teams to achieve executional, financial, and operational targets, ensuring the long-term commercial success of the business. You will be managing both Chemist Warehouse Management VMS and Chemist Warehouse China. Key responsibilities include: Develop strategic account plan and joint customer plan to deliver H&H growth ambition, creating value for both parties, Effectively present and gain commitment for all target NPDs, Determine and submit optimal catalogue and promotional strategies and investment, Support Senior Category Manager to develop strategic category plans, Work with KAM to ensure forecast accuracy and collaboration on forecasting with customer, Work closely with Shopper Activation Manager to maximise our co-op investment. To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: Min 4 years strategic account management, category management and/or marketing experience, demonstrating applying strong commercial practices, 1 years grocery account management experience preferred, Demonstrated ability to deliver ambitious targets and KPIs, Developed successful joint customer plans, Analytical and business savvy, but more importantly, has strong understanding of the role their products and brands play in the categories they operate and the role they play for the retailers or customers they partner with, Partnered with key stakeholders across multiple work areas to achieve business goals, Commercial Acumen: A relentless, proactive focus on growth and value creation for the customer, category, competitors, and H&H commercials. This involves understanding P&L, articulating H&H's strategy, aligning H&H and customer strategies, analysing data for insights, setting financial targets, quantifying commercial proposals, creating structured business cases, using consistent post-evaluation methods, and managing risks and opportunities to maximize outcomes.
