About the role Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager/Sales Consultant to take over sales throughout NSW, VIC and TAS. The role will be performed from their Western Sydney branch. This would suit Sales Consultants or Business Development Managers from the heavy equipment, construction equipment, tool or Automotive sectors. You will responsible for nurturing existing customers, but also finding new business. From time to time, you may need to travel interstate visiting potential customers. The BDM will need to lead the development and execution of a new sales strategy, based on market research and intelligence gathered through visiting customers. You will be joining a team and support network that will assist you in achieving your goals. Ideal Candidate: Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Customer-centric with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organised and methodical approach to work. Persistent and driven to convert leads into sales. Proven sales experience, ideally with equipment or machinery. Mechanically minded with a strong understanding of equipment functionality. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Hubspot experience is highly regarded). An excellent remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, with a base salary of $130,000 (negotiable), commission and a company vehicle.
