About the role: Lendlease currently have an exciting career opportunity to contribute to our iconic, city-shaping pipeline of work in NSW and the ACT. As the Regional Sustainability Manager, Construction NSW and ACT , you will guide, support and inspire our NSW and ACT project teams’ sustainability strategies from bid phase through to pre-construction to assist in winning work, delivering on our Mission Zero roadmap and contributing to Lendlease’s aspiration to be a recognised as a leader in sustainability. Working closely with our Senior Leaders, you will maintain a strategic overview of projects in pre-construction and delivery in the NSW and ACT region and will be the ‘go-to’ person from the Sustainability Function for the NSW & ACT Construction businesses. To be successful you will need: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a sustainability role within the Construction and Property industry is essential. A degree in construction, engineering, environmental science, property, sustainable development, sustainability or equivalent. Exposure to building ratings, certifications, and benchmarks such as Green Star, NatHERs, BASIX, WELL Building Standard and NABERS is also advantageous. The ability to influence and think strategically is key to our team’s success. The ability to communicate with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders, as well as relevant authorities.
