Your role at St John of God Health Care You will design technical network centric solutions and standards to meet St John of God Health Care (SJGHC) business needs. The Position Develop and maintain accurate network security design standards and patterns to support reuse of network capabilities. Complete design documentation following approved architecture principles, standards and guidelines. Create physical and logical network diagrams using diagrammatic tooling (e.g. MS Visio) outlining required configuration for implementation. Proactively adjust and adapt design documents and patterns to meet changing business, operational and security requirements. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Architects, Project Managers, Engineers, Operations teams , CyberSecurity teams, project teams, etc) to design and develop solutions. Conduct peer reviews of solution designs to ensure compliance with network security standards, while ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with business, operational and security requirements. Actively participate in meetings related to projects, providing design direction as required. Proactively identify, document and resolve technical design issues. This role will suit a junior who has experience in Network Operations and Engineering and is now ready to progress in their career. You will have experience developing network security solution designs using modern technology platforms, experience with physical infrastructure design, including cabling, racks, environmental. You will also have experience handling Telecommunication services and related 3rd parties and be able to demonstrate ability to solve business problems with modern network security concepts. To succeed you will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and/or minimum 4 years experience in Network Security disciplines. Additionally you will hold industry certifications CISCO CCNA, Palo Alto PCNSA or equivalent along with the following technology experience: Cisco Routing and Switching, WAN, SD-WAN, SD-A, Advanced Routing Protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF), Cisco ISE, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Proxy, IPSEC VPN, Wireless Networking, Cloud Networking, Palo Alto solutions.
