About the opportunity We have an incredible opportunity for Support Workers to join a supportive and inclusive team in providing quality support to our clients in Frankston, Dandenong, Mornington and Pakenham. As a passionate Support Worker, you will be responsible for the delivery of services purchased through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will use a person-centered approach to provide individual support and practical assistance to participants to assist them in achieving their goals identified under the participants’ NDIS plan. You will utilise your great problem-solving skills to take ownership of the role through advocating for participants to reach their full potential and eliminate any barriers to their success. To be successful in this role Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience, generally a Certificate Level 3 or 4 Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care Current valid Driver’s License and the ability to undertake travel for the role Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check Right to Work within Australia Satisfactory National Police Records Check NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate About Us Wellways connects people, strengthens families, and transforms communities for individuals of all ages experiencing disabilities or challenges to their social and emotional wellbeing.
