Key responsibilities for this role include: Oversee and optimize design processes to ensure efficiency and high-quality output. Implement strategies to minimize errors and reworks, ensuring all design work meets company standards. Develop and implement staff training and development plans to foster a skilled, cross-functional design team. Collaborate with HR to streamline and document design processes clearly and effectively. Set reporting requirements for design software to improve data integrity and operational efficiency. Work closely with the production team to identify weaknesses and improve workflow for faster manufacturing. Manage the design team’s performance, attendance, and team morale while ensuring targets are met. Key Requirements: Proven experience managing a design team, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of design processes and software (CAD, etc.). Ability to implement business strategies that improve efficiency, profitability, and quality. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
