Job Description About the Role Global are seeking a Business Applications Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our ERP system and other business applications. Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring business applications meet organisational needs, providing system support, enhancements, and user training. They will also assist in documenting and mapping business processes, offering insights for improvements, and driving the implementation of solutions. Key responsibilities will include: Gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements for ERP configurations and enhancements. Assisting in system configuration, customisation, and upgrades to meet evolving business and process requirements. Collaborating with teams (Finance, Operations, P&C) to map processes, perform gap analysis, and identify system improvements Supporting data migration activities, ensuring data integrity during the ERP implementation process. Developing Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver insights into ERP data and performance. Overseeing ERP security, user access, and permissions management. Collaborating with stakeholders to manage the impact of changes introduced by the Applications. Engaging in change management, training, and communication strategies to promote smooth system adoption. Maintaining ERP documentation and liaise with external vendors for system upgrades. Desired Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you must hold the following traits, skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science. 2 years of experience in ERP system support or implementation (Oil & Gas industry preferred) Proficiency in ERP platforms (e.g., Jobpac) and Power BI. Experience in business analysis, including process mapping and gap analysis. Knowledge of integration platforms (Workato, Boomi) preferred. Introductory knowledge of change management.
