We are seeking a Data Engineer to partner with the business and take responsibility for developing and maintaining data architecture and systems, and for optimizing data flows across a range of applications and solutions. You will enjoy building our data engineering solutions, including data models, data ingestion, ETLs, data storage, and data delivery. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders across the business to design and deliver technical data engineering solutions. Key focus of the Role will include: Data management, governance, and data quality Defining and implementing data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable Maintaining, refining, or creating all ETL processes related to the data stack Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence Maintaining and supporting data analytics platforms Leading data engineering projects end-to-end Implementing and championing Data Engineering ways of working including and not limited to automated testing, CB/CI, and continuous deployment Performing any required data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping work for technical design and construction of technical data flows The successful applicant will ideally possess: Knowledge of contemporary IT application development methodologies Relevant IT related degree or certification/s. A degree in a related discipline is preferred At least 3 years of hands-on data engineering expertise. Experience in building a data ingestion, transformation, and egress framework will be highly advantageous.
