We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting detailed site investigations, analyzing soil and rock mechanics, and providing recommendations for construction projects. Responsibilities Conduct site investigations to assess geotechnical conditions Perform and analyze soil and rock mechanics laboratory tests Develop geotechnical design recommendations for construction projects Prepare technical reports and presentations Collaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are incorporated into designs and plans Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field Professional Engineer (PE) license is required Minimum of 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics principles Proficient in using geotechnical software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience in conducting geotechnical investigations and field testing Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
