A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong Data Centre expertise to join their team on a permanent basis. Joining a fast-paced, collaborative team, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance and reliability of their complex network environment. With solid skills in BGP, VXLAN and EVPN, you will respond to alerts and tickets, resolving these within SLA’s as well as work on a number of small project initiatives. To be successful in this role you will need: Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant vendor certifications (CCNP / CCIE etc) Demonstrated network engineering experience gained within large, complex environments Advanced knowledge and experience supporting, troubleshooting, configuring and deploying network solutons within a large datacentre and campus networks (i.e. Static / OSPF / BGP / VXLAN / EVPN) Strong knowledge and experience supporting, maintaining and configuring Arista / Cisco routers and switches Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently as required In return my client is offering: Flexible working arrangement from home / CBD offices Annual performance bonus Regular social events and charity involvement opportunities Wellbeing and health program This is a Sydney based role which requires you to be in the office three days per week.
