The role This generalist role is a key member of the People & Culture team. It is an opportunity for someone to build their exposure to a wide range of people activities and is great for someone who enjoys variety and jumping between tasks. You will work closely with the team to manage admin, recruitment and cyclical tasks, and be comfortable creating, managing and reporting on data from our platforms as you'll be our reporting whiz We're also looking for someone willing to progress in their career over time with us, so hopefully you see yourself willing and able to pick up and develop your HR skills along the way. This will be a fantastic opportunity to obtain broad exposure across a range of generalist people topics working with our amazing team. Given the size of our team, you will also be hands-on in any of our people projects. We like to work at pace and make things happen, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable doing just that, while having fun along the way. Key Accountabilities HR Admin and Projects - Prepare any relevant HR information, documents and updates for our communication portal, Workplace and things like our organisation charts - Manage the administration of our LMS (Learning Management System) - Letter preparation for staff including visa support letters, confirmation of employment and separation certificates - Draft responses to general HR queries (both over the phone and via the HR inbox) and give advice after consultation - Complete rental/finance reference checks for staff - Document investigation processes, and update our file notes in our systems - Schedule relevant HR meetings with staff - Manage Government Paid Parental Leave and Child Support matters via portals - Monitor and follow up mandatory certifications/compliance for Core team - Administer our monthly recognition program Feedback and Development - Support the cyclical feedback processes for business support and client services including tech set up, preparation of slides/information for Development Forums and event coordination - Monitor and support our Assistant Feedback & Development process Recruitment - Administration of our recruitment software including user set up, monitoring, managing and communicating with candidates to ensure they have a great experience - Preparation and support for recruitment days - Updating and posting job ads - Scheduling interviews for core team applicants Reporting - Develop and monitor key HR metrics including staff turnover, incidents, injuries and recruitment - Assist in preparation for cyclical Board and Sub Committee reporting including our engagement surveys - Manage annual Workplace Gender Equity Agency (WGEA) data collation and reporting process - Other ad hoc reporting as required Health, Safety and Wellbeing - Assist the Injury Management Partner to prepare all paperwork and documentation for WorkCover/Injury management including keeping detailed file notes and managing reconciliations of COC's and payments - Manage injured worker shifts in our rostering program - Communicate with our WorkCover agent including timely submission of new claims, certificates and invoices for injured workers - Submit any requests for reimbursements to our WorkCover agent on a monthly basis - Support any documentation related to any responses to WorkSafe issues, audits or complaints - Schedule and support (including taking minutes) the Safety and Wellbeing Committee meeting - Prepare and post safety flashes on Workplace and support things like first aid kit issue and replenishment To be successful you'll have: - Passion for employee experience - Great organisational and coordination skills - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Instils trust and builds relationships easily - A can-do and hands-on attitude - Tech savvy and comfortable with picking up new software in the HRIS, LMS and ATS space - Data analysis and reporting skills (intermediate Excel skills and Power BI an advantage) - Drives to identify and deliver efficiency improvement opportunities - Exceptional attention to detail Qualifications - HR/Organisational Psychology/Management or other other relevant tertiary qualifications Additional requirements As part of our recruitment process certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check for Core Team roles.
