About the Role As a Government Relations Administration Coordinator, you’ll support our Government Relations team by conducting research to assist in briefing development, coordinating meetings, and providing high-level administrative assistance. You'll be a key player in ensuring the team delivers high-quality ministerial briefings, public education campaign submissions, and responses to correspondence and information requests from stakeholders. Key responsibilities include monitoring parliamentary proceedings, managing reporting requirements, and assisting in organising TAC events with Ministers and key stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to use your organisational, research, and communication skills in a meaningful way. About the Team This role sits within our Government Legislation and Privacy Branch in the Community Division, which is focused on engaging, educating, and influencing stakeholders to build trust in the TAC and support road safety initiatives. You’ll work closely with a supportive and collaborative team and report into the Team Manager, Government Relations. What we’re looking for Strong administration and research skills: You’ll have experience in providing administrative support in a fast-paced, politically sensitive environment, including handling ministerial and stakeholder communications. Excellent communication: You can write clearly for a variety of audiences and have experience proofreading, editing, and preparing detailed reports. Organisation and adaptability: You thrive on managing competing priorities and can work independently while meeting tight deadlines. Technical proficiency: You’ll have strong PC skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Take the next step in your career. Apply now.
