More About the Role at Autodesk Position Overview As a 2025 Software Engineering intern, you can gain real-world experience working as part of a team developing the technology that enables Autodesk products to exchange data between a variety of Autodesk applications and workflows. Your Python and JavaScript skills will enhance our ability to interface with existing Desktop applications by creating Python scripts and Python Application Programming Interface (APIs) between the applications and systems such as Google Documents. As a Software Development Intern at Autodesk, you will work and learn from experienced software engineers and software. To succeed in this position, you must demonstrate an ability to think creatively, work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and enjoy problem-solving by building on suggestions, criticism, and directives from other team members. Responsibilities - Create Python Scripts and Python API for existing applications - Create Python Interface with Google Documents - Design and implement testable, readable and effective production-quality code and scripts - Participate in team meetings and practice Agile mindset throughout the software development lifecycle Minimum Qualifications - Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or similar degree at an accredited University in Australia - Completed coursework and projects using Python programming or a similar programming language. - Knowledge of Computer Science subjects, especially Object-oriented programming and data structures - Programming experience in a Windows - Ability to work in a team environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Internship period: January – December 2025 [12 months] Preferred Qualifications - Building applications in Python.
