ROLE SUMMARY: Reddam House Sydney is seeking an outstanding Visual/Media Arts Teacher to start in the 2025 academic year. This role will be offered as a 12 month parental leave contract. Here, Reddam House's legacy of academic prowess merges with the global best practices of the Inspired Education Group.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teach Visual and Media Arts to Primary students in an innovative and collaborative environment. • Unlock students' true potential, preparing them for unlimited success. • Provide high-quality education, development, and care. • Engage effectively with students, parents, guardians, and colleagues, aligning with Reddam House’s educational philosophy. • Co-ordinate the After School Art program. • Coordinate all art competitions and points. • Teaching Visual Arts to Kindergarten and Year 1 as well as Media Arts to Years 3-6.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • A teaching degree with a minimum of four years of post-qualification experience, specialising in Visual and Media Arts or a closely related subject. • Experience with the NESA syllabus content. • A valid Working with Children check and a commitment to child welfare. • Confidence in using ICT in teaching. • High expectations and aspirations for all students. • A commitment to the overall development of young people. • An open-minded approach and willingness to learn and develop. • A demonstrable passion for teaching and a proven track record. • The right to work in Australia.
