ABOUT THE ROLE Based in Sydney, the main responsibility of a JJ's Driver Trainer/Assessor is to deliver training, assess competency, and ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively. Depot locations include: Glendenning, Chipping Norton and Unanderra . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Providing instruction on safe driving techniques, vehicle sympathy, compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Work, Health, and Safety (WHS) regulations. Facilitate Foundation Training & Coach Courses in your region. Conduct Verification of Competency Assessments (VOC’s) and Operational Reviews. Monitor and review Driver Training Records, Coaches and internal training material to ensure it meets the required standard. Ad-hoc duties as required. ABOUT YOU Ideally have more than two (2) years operational experience as a Driver/Operator in the Waste Industry & have your current HR Licence. Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) would be advantageous as would the willingness to obtain this. You are motivated & love to work autonomously & you enjoy being part of a larger team. Strong attention to detail, you are thorough & methodical in your approach.
