Do you have a keen eye for identifying and resolving problems that impact product quality and system effectiveness? If so, we have an exiting opportunity for you to join our Rydalmere team as a Quality Engineer. Drive the ongoing development of our Quality Management System to meet ISO9001 standards. Lead cross-functional teams in resolving quality issues. Review and enhance systems and procedures to improve manufacturing quality. Collaborate with R&D and Process Engineers to minimise in-house quality problems through root cause analysis and process control techniques. Participate in design review sessions to tackle internal and market-related quality issues. Support new product launches as a mentor or active participant. Improve Right First Time (RFT) performance by implementing effective reporting systems. Manage supplier quality by conducting root cause analysis and implementing process controls. About You Engineering degree (Mechanical bias) or advanced trade experience with a Diploma. Consideration given to time-served applicants with exemplary skills. Proven experience with ISO9001 Quality Management Systems in a world-class manufacturing environment. Experience in a ‘6-Sigma’ environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills across all organisational levels. Analytical and statistical expertise. Trained and experienced in problem-solving techniques, failsafe manufacturing techniques, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen. Proficient with MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Self-starter, proactive, and able to drive activities to a successful outcome without extensive supervision.
