Join Our Team this Summer Are you a passionate student eager to gain hands-on experience in the mining and engineering fields? We are excited to offer vacation student positions in the following areas: Mining Engineering Geology Mechanical Engineering About Us Aurelia Metals Limited (ASX: AMI) (‘Aurelia’) is an Australian gold and base metals mining and exploration company. We own and operate two underground mines and a processing facility in the Cobar Basin in New South Wales (NSW) and have an enviable portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region. ?Our Peak operation comprises several underground polymetallic (gold, lead, zinc, copper, and silver) ore bodies and an 800 thousand tonnes per annum (ktpa) processing plant. The site is located in the northern Cobar Basin in western NSW, a short distance from the historical town of Cobar. Our Federation deposit hosts high-grade zinc, lead, and gold mineralisation and is located 15 kilometres south of the central-west township of Nymagee. ?At Aurelia, we actively promote a culture where everyone feels safe, included and respected. What You’ll Do: As a vacation student, you will have the opportunity to: Work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects. Contribute to various aspects of our operations. Gain valuable insights and skills that will enhance your academic journey. Participate in training and development sessions. Who We’re Looking For: Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Mining Engineering, Geology, Mechanical Engineering). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
