About the role We have some new role coming available soon for Pipeline engineers, working across multiple projects in Melbourne. The Engineer - Pipelines is responsible for providing engineering and technical services to support the safety, reliability, integrity and long-term value of Jemena’s AS2885 Asset Class that supports Jemena’s commercial and operational objective. Key Responsibilities include Development of asset class strategies and life-cycle management plans as an input into the Asset Management Plans to ensure the AS2885 Asset Class meet expected service delivery, asset performance and commercial requirements. Identify projects required to deliver the Asset Class Strategies through the development of high quality and clearly defined opportunity briefs, Options Analysis and Scope of Work. Provide project engineering support by performing document reviews and technical query management. This includes participation in design reviews, HAZOP etc as the Jemena technical representative as part of Project team. Performance Monitoring including compliance to requirements in AS 2885, Jemena specifications and other relevant codes and standards. Operational Engineering Support including defect assessment to ASME B31G and API 579. Perform Incident investigation and reporting. Perform Asset Integrity Monitoring and Condition Assessment, including review of Cathodic Protection, In-line inspection and coating defect survey data. Perform review and assessment of third party works in vicinity of pipeline assets. Co-ordinate and Participate in Risk Assessments and AS 2885 Safety Management Studies. About You Tertiary Qualifications and/or higher in Engineering. Certified Professional Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer (preferred) Highly motivated Pipeline engineer with experience in in the oil & gas / pipeline engineering industry. Track record of delivering Engineering and technical functions including policy, standards development, regulatory compliance and risk management Good knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, code and appropriate safety criteria.
