Western Health is looking for a driven Facility Manager to work across multiple sites. The Facilities Manager will manage governance and ensure compliance with all WH building & infrastructure and plant & equipment operations (i.e. VMIA audits, planned maintenance (PM) schedules, incident response to facilities’ service disruptions, electrical, hydraulic and buildings safety, etc). The Facilities Manager is the Department Manager for the trade staff servicing the facilities, plant and equipment across the FH portfolio. As such, this role is accountable for the performance, compliance, and any escalations for the Facilities team and their outputs. As asset custodian for the FH portfolio, the FM is accountable to input into Capital Projects on the portfolio sites, overseeing Project activities such that they do not impede with the health service operations. The Facilities Manager is the recipient of the asset handover process, and is accountable uphold the requirements, standards and workflows of the Asset Management System for your facilities portfolio. This full-time role will see you working Monday – Friday, working across Footscray, Williamstown, Central Production Kitchen, Hazeldean, Ashley Street. Bacchus Marsh, Melton, Sunbury and the other satellite sites. Due to the nature of the Department and the role, primary on-call and out of hours work may be required.
