Our client is a food services wholesaler with customers throughout the Pacific region. They are searching for a Salesperson to maximise sales opportunities in new and well-established portfolio of food industry clients based in and around the Brisbane area. The role will be based out of their northern Gold Coast premises. This company provide a variety of specific food products to hospitality, retail, institutional customers with no real constraints. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role will predominantly be phone based with short distance visits supplementing this in order to build relationships to introduce new and existing products, up and cross sell, while meeting the customer’s needs and maximizing your commission. This role will give you great responsibility, flexible working conditions and work life balance. Typical tasks include: Service existing customers and identifying new opportunities Build rapport for long term business relationships Take orders and maximise volume vs customer needs Work with customers on any sales promotions Cross sell related products Ensure orders and products arrive on time and in full Follow up with customers Meet sales targets In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria: Previous sales experience in either Food or FMCG Able to commit to early starts / early finishes Demonstrated business acumen Able to work autonomously Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
