Costco Ipswich Casual On call with no minimum hours guaranteed Job Duties/Essential Functions • Prepares meat, poultry, cold meat, vegetables and seafood as per Standard Operating Procedures • Assembles platters, pizzas, sushi, salads, raw meats and other items sold in the Service Deli and Rotisserie departments • Skewers and loads chicken into rotisserie ovens • Cooks chicken as per Standard Operating Procedure • Packages, labels and displays chicken in hot holding cabinet • Provides and ensures prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and vendors. • Dismantles equipment, washes, rinses and sanitises removable parts, equipment in Deli and Rotisserie rooms • Inspects and reassembles equipment, addresses any corrective actions from the previous night • Rework display case, filling and rotating merchandise • Completes required department paperwork • Cleans and sanitises work area throughout the day following sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP) guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position • Completes and complies with 11 commandments of Quality assurance, food safety certification, department specific training and all safety training required by warehouse, service deli and rotisserie department • Complies with health code by following sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures • Stocks and rotates supplies in cooler/freezer • Removes rubbish from department and work areas • Operates trash compactor and cardboard baler • Adheres to all departments Standard Operating Procedures • Assists with other department of the warehouse as necessary • Provides and ensures prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and vendors. • Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery; pressure washer, commercial dish washer, combination heat/steam oven, warming case, shears, wheeled racks, proofing boxes, ovens, trash compactor, cardboard baler, pallet jack, blast chiller, air hose cleaner, step ladder.
