IT Services focuses not just on fixing complex issues, but also spots opportunities to improve customer's IT environment and offer sound technical advice to customers. Your role: Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (IT Services Engineer) to join our team in Melbourne. As an IT Services Engineer / Consultant you are focused on supporting client's IT environments and at the same time providing suggestions to customers on a technical level. You will be working with Small, Midsize and Enterprise companies both remote and onsite, providing L1 to L3 support and everything in between. Your key responsibilities: Assist our clients with a high level of customer service Communication with customers to identify IT pain points Be able to step back and look at the bigger picture Provide solutions to problems an explain it in a simple way to the client Maintain ownership of incidents and escalations Identifying gaps or issues within the customers' environments Self-management of your working day and your priorities Day to day operations of client's systems Work towards billable hours targets and self-work generation Work with Senior Consultants and Account Management staff to ensure effective management of the clients Skills you need to be successful in the role: Prior experience in an MSP type role providing a wide range of support. Solid understanding of a wide range of IT technologies - servers, virtualization, networking, MDM and cloud to name just a few. High level knowledge of networking, server, and virtualization (seasoned L2 or L3) Implementation and troubleshooting experience of Cloud based hosted platforms, IaaS and MDM platforms Confident, self-motivated and customer service skills Ability to work autonomously in a larger team Able to develop trusted rapport with clients Solid communication and interpersonal skills Note: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a Technical Assessment and National Criminal History Check.
