The Opportunity As the Senior Stormwater Engineer, you’ll take the lead on projects that enhance flood immunity, manage coastal erosion, and optimize stormwater systems. You’ll play a critical role in future-proofing waterway infrastructure, ensuring it can withstand environmental pressures while meeting the needs of the community. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement strategic asset management plans to improve the resilience of stormwater and drainage systems. Lead critical projects addressing flood immunity, coastal erosion, and waterway management, ensuring long-term sustainability. Provide expert technical guidance while collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver impactful results. Drive the development of master infrastructure plans, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and community needs. Take a proactive role in promoting environmentally sustainable practices within infrastructure planning. Required Skills & Experience: A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in managing stormwater systems and drainage assets. Proven ability to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects related to stormwater, drainage, and waterways. Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards and State Government guidelines governing water management. Strong project management skills with a track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. RPEQ registration or a demonstrated commitment to achieving it.
