About the role Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, as well as maintenance, integrity and construction related work programs. The role is offered on a full-time basis. Skills & experience We are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer from 3 to 5 years experience in mining, power, and/or oil and gas industries. Other Duties: FEED and detail design of oil and gas facilities Preparation of Electrical and Instrumentation drawings, documentation and reports Hazardous area design and equipment selection Preparation of specifications Material requisition and Datasheets Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering Preferred experience within the Australian mining and/or oil and gas industry (other industry experience also welcomed) Sound understanding of Australian industry codes and standards Exceptional oral and written communication skills Strong commitment to client satisfaction A high commitment to work place health and safety and the use of safe work systems Culture Fyfe values our clients and our people and has a culture built on respect, integrity and the delivery of value.
