Our client is a leading non-profit organisation based in the Eastern suburbs and are recruiting for a brand new role for their team. Azure Administration essential together with certification. Duties will include: • Develops scopes of work and oversees the delivery of the project to completion whilst keeping all stakeholders continually updated. • Defines and documents project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, forming project team and establishing project budget. • Manages and performs user acceptance testing. Coordinates, documents and completes testing before/after deployment of updates, new software within a well-defined testing regime. • Creates formal documentation summarising key internal instructions, requirements and meeting outcomes that subsequently inform formal instructions to contractors to ensure expectations are met and measured. • Proactively addresses issues and provides onsite troubleshooting of hardware issues and ad-hoc problem-solving for ICT solutions to the wider business. • Provides instructions and support for queries or issues requiring escalation, particularly with regard to infrastructure and systems. • Recommends system or procedure changes, where deficiencies are apparent, whether arising from changed business or technical conditions. • Effects operational configuration changes to applications, and data updates to databases, within a well-defined change management context. • Develops and monitors Windows Server based PowerShell/SQL scheduled tasks. • Champions cyber security and contributes to initiatives to raise cyber awareness and ensure data security. • Delivers IT training, including new starter induction and training, and cyber security awareness. • Engages with internal and external stakeholders in effecting Office 365 and Azure configuration, maintenance and enhancement tasks. • Provides ongoing mobile device management and support. Salary range - $73K - $78K plus super plus salary packaging. Required skills and experience: • Min 2-3 years’ IT experience. • Microsoft Azure services administration exposure. • AD/AAD/Identity administration and maintenance, including Group Policy and Security Group creation and management. • Microsoft Windows File-Server administration and maintenance. • IP networking fundamentals. • Experience with Windows Server operating system deployment, configuration and management. • Solid communication skills. Qualification requirements: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent is required. Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification required. Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Network Engineer Associate or others highly desirable.
