The position Loreto Toorak invites applications from experienced and inspiring Classroom Teachers to join our dedicated teaching team at Rathfarnham, our Junior School (Preparatory - Year 6). This opportunity is offered as a full time fixed term role for 2025 commencing Term 1 through to the end of Term 4, 2025. This role will facilitate, support and enhance student love and appreciation of learning across all subjects. It is expected that Classroom Teachers have a broad and deep understanding of their content and curriculum. Responsibilities of the role will include: Prepare and conduct classes inspiring and fostering a love of learning Employ a variety of strategies to effectively implement the curriculum Participate actively in all aspects of school life beyond the classroom Provide students with a child-safe environment About You The successful candidate will be an outstanding primary school educator with an innovative and engaging teaching style and demonstrated understanding and appreciation of the principals and practices of student learning strategies. Your excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with a collaborative approach to planning and delivering curriculum will be central to this role.
