Work on complex communication devices and OT Tech Interview and start ASAP – 1 or 2 days travel to Geelong Competitive package on offer Our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Systems Engineer / Communications Engineer to support and maintain several OT and IoT platforms and Design and maintain communication systems including satellite communications, microwaves and radio links, 4G/5G, Telemetry and VoIP technologies. Requirements: 10 years’ experience in engineering technology, electrical and electronic systems design and maintenance. Tertiary qualifications in electrical/electronic engineering or a related discipline or suitable extensive relevant experience Strong understanding of IoT systems and emerging technologies. Ability to design and implement electrical systems that integrate with existing infrastructure. Proficiency in designing and maintaining communication systems, including satellite communications, microwave, radio systems, and 4/5G technologies. Ability to improve maintenance processes through preventative maintenance programs and condition assessments. Experience in operational readiness, project handover and developing maintenance Knowledge in AS/NZS AS3000, 3008 and IEEE Standards and frameworks.
