About the Role We are seeking a Finance BI Design Lead to join our team in Blackburn (Melbourne) on a max term until 31/3/2025, full-time basis. Reporting to the General Manager, Finance Business Partnerships, you will be responsible to develop and implements BI strategies within The Salvation Army Australia's Finance team. Key Responsibilities : Identify opportunities to leverage data analytics to enhance financial decision-making and operational efficiency within TSA. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights to the Finance team and other stakeholders. Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in financial data, supporting strategic planning and operational improvements. Lead the selection and implementation of BI tools and platforms, ensuring they meet TSA's needs for scalability, security, and functionality. Oversee the maintenance and optimization of BI systems, including troubleshooting issues and implementing updates or enhancements. About You Your stakeholder management skills would play an imperative role as you would be collaborating with various stakeholders across the portfolio and within finance function to add critical value to the business partnering team in its advice and initiatives. The successful candidate will ideally have: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics. CPA/CA (or progress towards) is desirable. Established advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar. Experience ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements related to data management.
