Apply Now Location: Broadmeadows Role Type: Full Time Ongoing Remuneration: $82,821 - $103,139 (plus 11.5% Superannuation) If you possess a tertiary qualification and VIT registration, $115,000 plus superannuation About us: BKI is seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor Teacher to join our Health and Community Centre of Excellence (HACCOE) team at Broadmeadows Campus to teach and inspire the next generation You will be working in ultra-modern facilities, equipped with simulation labs to train early childhood educators. About The Role: Our Health and Community Centre of Excellence delivers high quality health and community training and gives teachers and students access to state-of-the-art facilities. Our teachers are committed to developing skilled graduates by focusing on the application of education theory in real life situations through work placements, training programs and simulated labs. As a teacher you will have access to the latest technologies and equipment to help students to learn via both guided and immersive real-life experiences. The key responsibility of the role is to deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessments in specified program (s) in a range of settings including classroom, workplace, and online environments. We are excited about you because you have: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher (bachelor's in early childhood education care) Currently studying (enrolled and actively working towards completing TAE within 6 months) OR have a completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B) and address adult language, literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A) Relevant vocational qualification and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed Experience and Knowledge: Possess a high-level specialist knowledge, skills and competencies especially regarding Early Childhood Education and Care Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel etc Understands cultural sensitivity and respects and values difference Can identify language, literacy and numeracy issues Can adapt communication style to suit audience and context Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders Understands the concepts and practices underpinning digital and blended learning and applies as a supplement to the learning program Ability to use digital learning for administrative functions, to communicate, collaborate and for presentations Provision (and maintenance) of current driver's license where relevant We can offer you: Relocation reimbursement and incentive payment after 12 months of employment Attractive work-life balance and flexible work options Free onsite parking at most of our campuses Fitness Passport Program with exclusive access for you and your family to 230 locations Australia wide Counselling support (EAP) and Health & Wellbeing initiatives throughout the year Meaningful work that drives positive social impact The opportunity to build a career in a world leading vocational education and training sector, with diverse and emerging career opportunities across Australia.
