Barcaldine Regional Council are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual for the role of Senior Administration Office (CCS) in Barcaldine. If you excel in providing efficient administrative support and are passionate about helping others, this role is perfect for you What You'll Do: Provide comprehensive administrative and financial support, including managing communications, maintaining client records, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings, while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Coordinate home modifications and maintenance services for clients, ensuring compliance with guidelines, effective communication with contractors and suppliers, and monitoring of project timelines and budgets. Provide accurate information to clients regarding Community Care/NDIS services, while assisting with the resolution of client queries and complaints to maintain high customer service standards. Ensure accurate maintenance of client and service records in compliance with Council and Community Care/NDIS standards, manage confidential information, and prepare documentation for audits and reviews. Position Details: Location: This position is based in Barcaldine with regional work and travel as required. Classification Level: Level 4.1 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award - State 2017, and the Barcaldine Regional Council Certified Agreement 2022. Wage: Minimum base salary of $75,063.04 per annum Superannuation (up to 12%) and relevant approved allowances. Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly. Hours of work: 72.5 hours over 9 days with a rostered day off every fortnight. Leave: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum 17.5% loading. Fifteen (15) days Personal Leave (sick leave) per annum. Formal qualification in Business Administration or related discipline is desirable. Current Queensland class 'C' Driver Licence. Minimum two (2) years' experience in an administrative role, with proven experience in a team environment and the ability to support across an organisation. Sound computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with records management systems.
