We are seeking an exceptional Principal Transmission Lead / Engineering Manager to represent our company as a subject matter expert in the field of High Voltage (HV) Transmission Engineering. In this key role, you will: Leverage your deep expertise across all aspects of HV transmission including cables, overhead lines, and substations Lead multi-disciplinary teams and serve as the frontline technical advisor to our clients and stakeholders Manage complex technical challenges, guiding teams through unclear scopes to develop robust solutions Provide technical direction, manage design projects, conduct reviews, and ensure compliance with quality systems Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, delivering projects on time and on budget Mentor and develop junior engineers to grow Jacobs' transmission engineering capabilities Here's what you'll need Extensive experience in transmission engineering design, construction, and consulting Proven ability to liaise directly with clients in a confident manner Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop technical teams Excellent communication and presentation abilities to interface across internal and external stakeholders Up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, standards, and best practices Commitment to Jacobs' values of doing things right, challenging the accepted, aiming higher, and living inclusion Join our dynamic team at Jacobs and be part of delivering compelling solutions for our clients worldwide Jacobs.
