Calling all passionate IT professionals with a retail flair Spotlight Retail Group is searching for a dynamic and results-oriented IT Retail Support Team Leader to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the hero behind the scenes, ensuring seamless technology operations across our vast store network of Spotlight, Anaconda, and Harris Scarfe stores in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia. Our growth plan involves many new stores scheduled to open, in the next 12 months. About the Team As part of the overall End User Services Department in IT, you will play a crucial role in supporting our store network. Whilst most of our support is provided centrally, we also work onsite in our store network from time to time, including the setup of new stores. No problem is too great for us and we’re focused on ensuring our stores can operate effectively with the right technology to allow them to “sell”. Here's What Awaits You Be a problem-solving Rockstar, providing 2nd/3rd level support for various systems like POS, networks and telecommunications (PSTN, ISDN, ADSL & NBN), including EFTPOS, PABX and IP-based phone systems, Meraki WIFI Technology, SOTI Mobile Device Management Support of Third-Party Payment gateways such as Zip, Afterpay and Openpay Lead your team in supporting our unique POS applications and ensuring all systems operate securely and efficiently. Think on your feet Travel to stores for setups, relocations, and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth opening days. Become a master of organization – manage our store projects, configure systems, and keep vital documentation up-to-date. Foster a collaborative spirit – you'll be a leader who can motivate and guide your team while working independently when needed Assist in troubleshooting both hardware & software technical issues for our users Support of promotional and pricing issues What We Are Looking For A passion for retail and a strong customer focus. Prior experience in leading a team within a IT support function Must have experience with Retail Directions and Surefire or similar systems Excellent communication skills to connect with people of all technical backgrounds. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. A knack for multitasking and performing under pressure. A valid driver's license and passport for interstate and international travel (sometimes on short notice). Solid knowledge of Windows OS, SQL databases, and troubleshooting expertise.
