Generous hourly rate Superannuation up to 15.25% About Us: The City of Busselton’s Waste Services team provides a range of essential services to the growing Busselton community. We are currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified individuals to join the team on a casual basis, providing support to our Waste Collection and Waste Facilities teams as required. We are particularly seeking applicants to operate waste collection trucks, the hook lift truck and other plant including loader and compactor. There is also the opportunity to drive a semi for applicants with experience and this licence. Successful applicants will need to be prepared to work at both our waste facilities in Busselton and Dunsborough. Regular work is available for the right applicants. About You: We are ideally looking for applicants who have the following: Recent work experience in a similar environment, ideally with recent experience with plant operation and truck driving. A current HR driver’s licence. (HC/MC driver’s licences would also be highly regarded). Experience driving a side arm waste collection truck. A Construction Safety Awareness (White Card). The ability to learn quickly on the job. A flexible attitude to days of work, which will include early starts and may involve working on weekends and public holidays.
