Our client prides itself on building exceptional client relationships. ABOUT THE ROLE With growth, our client wants to add a Sales and Pricing Coordinator to their Commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role will support the Internal Sales and Pricing team and promote, recognise, and act on new business development opportunities. This position works closely with both Shipping Lines, Agents and Clients to ensure rate follow up and constant growth and development. DUTIES • Rate sourcing, preparation and follow-up managed in a timely fashion • Entering and updating rates into auto-rating and CW1 • Client contact, weekly status reports, onboarding and SOP management • Support growth and development within the team SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Experience working in freight forwarding Sales Support, Customer Service or Operations • EDI cargo-wise experience is essential • Previous experience gaining rates from shipping, airline and transport providers • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an impeccable phone manner COMPANY CULTURE With extensive growth, our client has found its identity in delivering a progressive team with a wide diversity of quality staff.
