Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced Machine operators with forklift counter Balance experience for immediate starts in Emu Plains. Day shift, Monday to Friday ongoing roles paying $35 p/hr. The Client: A National brand specialising in wooden wall panels, located in Emu Plains. For you: Emu Plains location Free onsite parking Monday to Friday role 7am – 3:30pm shift $35 p/hr Super Temp to perm after 6 months for proven performers No daily shift confirmation needed from the agency The Role: Furniture Assembler / Packer This is a 50% Machine Operating and 50% Forklift operating role. Manual handling is regularly involved and you will be trained on operating the machinery. Your main duties will involve: Machine Operating duties: Manually loading Wall panels and timber boards onto machinery Manually off loading wall panels and timber boards from machinery Machinery is used to shape, cut and coat products Palletising final products All heavy lifting is a 2 person lift Forklift Duties: Counter Balance forklift operation Loading and unloading trucks Receiving and despatch work Moving pallets of wall panels and products from production areas to finished goods areas Moving pallets of wall panels and products from production areas to paint and spray sections Manual Handling: Heavy lifting of products up to 20 kgs Manually palletising stock Manually loading and unloading trucks and containers Shrink wrapping palletised stock Shift Available: Day: 7am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday $35 p/hr The Candidate: To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience: Current valid LF forklift license Counter Balance experience Experience loading and unloading trucks Machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment Previously working with Wall panels or timber is highly advantageous Picking and packing of final product Palletising stock Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated) Excellent attention to detail Previous experience in a fast-paced environment Excellent WHS knowledge Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs If this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Mike on mhadleyfuserecruitment.comwith your resume.
