Waste & Cleansing team have an exciting 12-month term contract position working as Waste Administration Officer. About the role As the Waste Administration Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of Local Government customer service, the creation and maintenance of service requests relevant to waste management services and administrative and clerical support to Waste Services staff. Key Responsibilities: Coordination of Council records, including mail and email by using Council’s electronic records management system. Responding to customer enquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner. Provision of administrative and clerical support to the Waste Management Team, including coordination and maintenance of service requests. Maintain and provide accurate data and information of garbage, recycling and garden waste services and other waste management programs. Investigation of inquiries relating to domestic and commercial waste charges. About You We are looking for someone with: Demonstrated customer service experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated computer and systems knowledge and experience (Microsoft Suite & computer systems and applications). Knowledge of waste collection services and operations What’s on offer 12-month term contract opportunity. We are offering an attractive remuneration from $75,922 to $83,609 plus 11.5% superannuation.
