Role Overview: As a Quality Engineer supporting a fully cross-functional agile squad, you will work closely with 3 other testers to maintain, test, and optimize a heritage tech stack scheduled for decommissioning in 3-5 years. The squad is involved in a variety of projects, including payments, regulatory work, BAU, and application upgrades across three primary applications. This role will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of data sets and data flows and performing regression testing within these applications. Responsibilities: Collaborate with developers and other testers, focusing on manual testing (90%) with some exposure to automation (10%) through Selenium. Work with data sets and data flows, ensuring accurate and efficient regression testing. Maintain and update testing documentation within Confluence, adhering to agile methodologies. Perform API and UI testing to ensure quality across interfaces. Utilize Git, Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr for version control, task tracking, and test case management. Support a combination of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices as needed. Requirements: Established experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar testing role. Demonstrated experience in both API and UI testing. Strong understanding of Selenium, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr. Familiarity with TDD and BDD practices. Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field, or relevant industry experience.
