Dynamic Sales Role- Build & Grow Relationships & Drive Sales for your Store Total Tools Hoppers Crossing is looking for a Commercial Sales Assistant who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for you to utilise your current sales skills and experience within a growing and diverse business. This position will suit an experienced sales professional; you will have previous experience as a sales representative, account manager or similar, with an ability to build strong, loyal relationships in the trade and industrial sectors. Having a passion for outstanding customer service will result in delivering the required KPIs, whilst adding real value to our trade customers. You will be an enthusiastic, self-starter, with proven results in driving sales growth in a target driven environment. What will you be doing? Customer Interaction: Engage with commercial customers, providing personalized service and expert advice on our extensive range of products. High-Level Customer Service: Manage relationships with top-level clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Order Management: Follow up on customer orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction. Delivery: Occasionally deliver products to customers using a company vehicle. A valid driver’s license is required. Quoting: Prepare detailed quotes for commercial customers, ensuring accuracy and competitive pricing. Product Research: Conduct thorough research on products requested by customers, providing them with the best options available. Promotional Activities: Update mailing lists and assist with the distribution of special promotions to our commercial clients. Achieving sales, margin, and product mix targets Analysing sales and customer data to identify new opportunities Attracting new customers in addition to growing existing business- you will be comfortable cold calling as required Does this sound like you? A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with sound experience in a similar sales role A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude Organised with excellent time management skills Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must, with a professional phone manner A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector an advantage Why work for us?
