He has single-handedly developed several long-term partnerships and supported the product in the Victorian market. Job Opportunity – This role will be based in Dandenong and is offering a full-time role, you will look to support major customers and key market sectors like, construction, civil, local government, Quarrying, Hire, Infrastructure and major projects. It will come down to you to develop long-term relationships and sell new machinery in a collaborative direction with the other regional reps that are based in other states. Below is and outline of the role in greater detail – Develop sales call plans to ensure achievement and/or the exceeding of budgeted sales objectives Develop sales opportunities with a high degree of conversion to profitable sales in allocated territory Achieve monthly call targets Communicate openly and accurately with General Manager or their designated replacement if absent on prospective sales Present sales solutions, deals and tenders that are accurate Ensure consistency of information to customers and the minimisation of quote inaccuracies Adhere to unit pricing structures that will underpin the achievement of business sales objectives. Manage territory to maximise sales in responsible area Build and maintain relationships with customers so as to ensure that the OEM becomes the company of first choice. Provide local input to customer needs, competitor performance and market trends Convert identified opportunities for sales in order shore up the OEM position in the market or a segment. Follow up sales leads in an efficient and timely manner Participate in the negotiation of profitable agreements with key customers and in doing so ensure a positive outcome for both the OEM and the customer Develop open communication lines to enable customers to assist the OEM in the review of our service levels, and / or to take advantage of business opportunities. Provide local market intelligence for strategic planning purposes Machinery portfolio – In this role you will have large amount of equipment to sell, the equipment ranges from 800kg to 13 tonnes. All equipment has unbelievable supports from Service, parts, warrantee support. Site Dumpers Tele Handlers Wheel loaders Spider lifts Access Equipment – Tracked and Wheeled All terrain forklifts Truck Mounted Lifts Candidate requirements – 5 years within sales of new machinery Strong contacts within the above market Associations and relationships within the machinery market Excellent Territory management Technically minded and if you come with technical trade or have held a product management role this would really help as there would be technical support with customers included in this role Excellent communication and proven IT skills Salary Package – My client is wanting someone that can prove themselves and enjoys making this new Greenfields role profitable. The salary is negotiable for top performers, but it will come down to your technical commercial experience.
