DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS - MAWSON LAKES McArthur Community Care is seeking experienced individuals to assist with the daily requirements of supporting a client in Mawson Lakes, who has acquired a spinal cord injury. We are seeking confident, experienced, and reliable Support Workers who are client focussed to assist with our client's requirements. The applicants must be respectful, good communicators, have a strong work ethic & have a proactive approach to ensuring the client's needs are met consistently. Experience with the complexities of spinal cord injuries will be highly regarded. Ongoing morning and afternoon shifts available. Essential Requirements (Current): Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent/approved healthcare accreditation) First Aid Certificate CPR Certificate Manual Handling Certificate DHS Disability Services Employment Clearance or NDIS Worker Check DHS Working with Children Check Right to work in Australia Clear and concise English communication skills inc. written and verbal. Desirable Requirements: Previous experience working with physical disabilities in particular spinal cord injury.
