About The Role Reporting to the Deputy General Manager City Services and Lifestyles and in partnership with the Executive Manager Group, you will develop and drive idea creation, enablement, detailed design, governance standards to enable outcomes of significant reform. A key focus of the role is to manage community expectations through a single point LG/suburb/area viewpoint and architecture lens across all assets, natural environment and wildlife. Key accountabilities: Lead the development of significant reform, innovative programs and delivery aligned to the Strategic Asset Management direction, Community Strategic Plan, Operational Plan, Delivery Program and all supporting strategies and plans. Support the strategic planning and management of the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), and Asset Management Plan/s (AMP), processes and systems to ensure that the performance management and reporting are aligned to the agency’s objectives and are within internal and external policy constraints. Lead and develop plans (i.e. Plans of Management, Flood Plan, Traffic, Environment) for all Council lands and create enablement initiatives, tools and approaches for Council to effectively manage and maximise for community value. Actively review, apply and manage Grant funding opportunities to maximize investment capacity and delivery of the strategic and asset management plans. Review section regimes and budgets, separate budgets further to get more accurate costs for a wider range of activities and investigate a broad range of options to optimise costs and drive community value generation. Lead a diverse range of skilled staff and create / foster a high-performance team culture and cross-sectional working approach. About You We are seeking an empowering and engaging leader who is passionate about delivering quality outcomes for the community of Campbelltown. To be successful, you will possess significant experience across one or more of the key portfolio areas with a high level of innovative and sustainable design knowledge. You will also demonstrate proven success as a leader in developing teams and managing and driving change in a complex delivery environment. As expected of such a position, the successful candidate will also possess tertiary qualifications and / or extensive experience in a relevant field.
