The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team for an initial contract through to the end of June 2025. The Role As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the upgrade of switches, routers, firewalls and other network devices. Managing vendor relationships and support agreements. Maintaining and reviewing architectural documentation of network assets. Providing technical support and training to internal stakeholders with varying levels of IT knowledge. Installing network hardware at remote assets across Victoria. About You In order to be a successful applicant you will have demonstrated experience working in network engineering. You will also have: Proven Configuration and Management of Palo Alto Firewall Configuration Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers, including data centre grade network connectivity and experience with Cisco Secure Workload Demonstrated proficiency in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure Strong Cloud Computing Connectivity understanding, preferably Azure & Express Route Industry certification preferably PCNSE, PCNSA, PCSFE, CMSS, CCNA, CCNP, Network (or similar) Excellent communications skills & vendor management experience Benefits An initial contract through to the end of FY 2025 Competitive daily rate Work in a highly engaging and collaborative team Please apply by upload your current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
