YOUR NEW ROLE This role is responsible for supporting the administration of maintenance contracts and the coordination of contractor activities on site at Sydney Opera House. The role ensures compliance with contract agreements and supports the seamless management of maintenance services. Further detailed information about the role and its requirements can be obtained from the role description. ARE YOU THE ONE? Key Responsibilities/skills: • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience of contract management and administration within building or maintenance industries • Knowledge, understanding and experience working in contract administration including planning, coordinating work priorities, communication, stakeholder management and contracts reporting • High level writing and computer skills to produce, interpret and edit complex technical documents, reports, contracts, briefing papers and submissions • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of documentation produced • Experience in both electronic and paper records management systems • High level interpersonal skills to consult and negotiate at a senior management level with Sydney Opera House clients and with contractors • High level skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and sound keyboard skills • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is desirable THE PERKS The Sydney Opera House gives you access to a fantastic range of benefits including: 10% off onsite food and beverage outlets like Opera Bar and First Nations restaurant Midden 5-week’s annual leave (pro rata).
